The City of Edinburgh Council provides useful information on food support services available in Edinburgh on this page. Sources of support include:

  • Foodbanks provide emergency food support, personal hygiene items and nappies and baby wipes. They are intended to support households over a crisis period. 
  • Food Pantries offer healthy, low-cost food, including fresh fruit and veg, frozen and chilled food, meat and dairy products, and long-life tinned and packaged food.
  • Food Parcels and Boxes include hot and cold meals, and are delivered by a range of organisations in Edinburgh.
