We want to make the Edinburgh Climate Festival as accessible and inclusive as possible. Whether you’re attending, volunteering, performing, or running a stall, we want to ensure you can fully and comfortably enjoy the day and access any support you might need.
Our team is here to help:
Anyone wearing a yellow or orange hi-vis vest is a designated festival helper and can assist you or direct you to further support. Our Information Tent will be clearly signposted and centrally located, staffed throughout the day by friendly volunteers ready to support you with any questions, including Accessibility Volunteers specifically focused on supporting any accessibility needs.
Accessible spaces
A map of the site, including the location of the Info Tent and key accessibility features (such as accessible toilets), will be available online in advance and at the event.
Sensory Packs
During the day we will also have available Sensory Packs – containing items such as ear defenders, communication lanyards, small fidgets & eye shades. These can be booked in advance through the form below or offered for free on a first come basis at our Info Tent.
Accessibility Form
If you have any specific accessibility requests or questions, we encourage you to fill out this form so we can do our best to support you throughout the event.

We know there is still work to do. Thanks to helpful feedback from past festivals, we’re taking steps to improve accessibility each year. But we also recognise that some areas still need work. As a free, community-run festival, our improvements depend on funding and resources. If you’d like to support our ongoing development of accessibility at the Edinburgh Climate Festival, we welcome donations specifically dedicated to this area.
