Volunteering at Fareshare Depot

Want to take action against food waste while supporting your local community? 🌎🥕 We’re proud to partner with Cyrenians FareShare Depot, a thriving surplus food hub that rescues good-quality food—otherwise headed for landfill—and redistributes it to people who need it most. As a volunteer, you’ll take part in a rewarding 3-hour, hands-on experience. Your session will begin with a tour of the depot and an introduction to how FareShare operates across Scotland’s central belt. You’ll then work alongside a dedicated team to sort and store surplus food, log incoming deliveries, and help assemble daily food packages for local charities and community groups. Join us in making a real impact! 💚
