Swap Shop Event! Big Giveaway
Save the date for our first swap shop: big giveaway event of the year 📚🍴👗 Come along to find some free pre-loved items to take and give a new home to. From clothing to toys, books, CDs, DVDs, kitchen items & much more!
When: 24th January 2026 from 1-3pm
Where: St Martins Church, Edinburgh EH11 2JG
We don’t take donations on the day so if you would like to donate please drop off your pre-loved goods at ELREC (14 Forth Street, Edinburgh) between the 20 – 21st from 10:30 to 17:30 🌍 Please email c3r@elrec.org.uk to arrange this beforehand!
We are looking forward to seeing you all there – remember to bring your own bags to collect all your free finds!
I’m a member of St Martin’s and know about the big giveaway. I’ve got a metal bed frame, a fold up bed and an electric bed that I can donate but won’t be able to bring to St Martin’s for the giveaway. Would you be interested in taking them? They belonged to my neighbour who died last May and her daughter has asked me to get rid. If you’re interested we can arrange a time for collection. I could email you photos but don’t see how to upload that on this page.

Sadly during our swap shop: big giveaway events we don’t accept large furniture such as beds. We would suggest donating them to a charity shop that sells furniture items or you can schedule a pick up from Edinburgh City Council but you will need to pay £5 per item for that. However thank you for thinking of us regarding the matter.
