Onion Skin
When yellow daffodils bloom, they signal the arrival of spring
This April, join Sherry – an artist working with natural materials – for a workshop using onion skin–based textile pigments to refresh old items with nature-inspired colour. Sherry will introduce how to create dyes from onion skins and other kitchen waste, and how metal mordants can produce rich, layered tones. Bring along a garment or cotton tote – ideally white or off-white and made from cotton, linen, or other natural fabrics – to give it a fresh, spring-inspired look
