Conscious Leith Crafting – Stone Weaving Workshop

We are delighted to invite you all to the continuation of the Conscious Living Project activities this year! Thank you all Leith community and Leith Chooses 2025 team, for giving us this wonderful opportunity!

Join us for another workshop from our Conscious Leith Crafting Series! Learn the beautiful art of stone weaving with wool and natural elements.

We will meet at Lochend Park View Point to get inspiration, collect necessary natural elements for your artworks, and walk towards St. Margarets House to relax, get creative, and have a cup of tea.

What will we make?

Each participant will receive one medium-sized stone and one small stone to weave on. We will make a simple pattern on small stones that you can keep for luck or give to your friend with special intention. You will have flexibility what to make on the bigger stones – you can weave a geometric pattern, a picture or weave in grasses that we collect on the walk before the workshop!

• Don’t worry about English – it’s mostly practical
