Cycle Ride to the new Lauriston Farm with a guided visit

The ride will go from NKS (near the Meadows) or North Edinburgh Arts to the new Lauriston Farm via North Edinburgh Arts, the Cramond promenade and back!

We will be riding on cycle paths and the ride is relatively flat. We will be going at a reasonable pace and the ride will be led by cycle ride leaders, so everybody can join! Children are welcome under adult supervision.

Lauriston Farm has invited us to visit their new farm (https://www.lauristonfarm.scot/) so we will stop by on our way back.

When: Sunday 26th September at 12:15pm to 4pm.
Where: 12:15pm at NKS, Darroch Annexe, 7 Gillespie St, Edinburgh EH3 9NH
Or 1pm at North Edinburgh Arts, 15a Pennywell Rd, Edinburgh EH4 4TZ in front of Greggs.

We can lend a limited number of bikes at NKS. Please get in touch by emailing cfc@elrec.org.uk if you need a bike and we’ll see what we can do.

Please bring:
• A road worthy bike
• Helmet
• Water
• Your own packed lunch.
• Sunscreen
• Waterproofs
The route is about 9 miles return and will take us along the cycle paths towards Lauriston Farm. There will be some road sections.

We will stop for a picnic break in Lauriston Farm. When everybody is content we will go back to NKS
We hope you’ll come and join our guided ride, meet new people from across Edinburgh, explore new cycle routes and discover this exciting new community farm in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Looking forward to welcoming you!
